First LJMU Training

Today, the first session for LJMU opened for the new academic year. Boasting the largest turn out of any first week LJMU Handball have ever had, it was full of new players wanting to try their hand at a new sport.

Coached by Liverpool Handball Club’s Andy Fleming, the session was the first look at the ongoing partnership LHC are looking to forge with the University outfit. Many players are currently shared between the two clubs or have links from that club from years gone.

This link aims to provide pathways for University students into club handball during and after their University years. By doing this, we are looking to continue to develop handball within the local area.

Congratulations to LJMU for a great session and hopefully a great year ahead!
