The first day of the Association of British University Handball Championships took place yesterday for LJMU and UoL’s Handball teams.
LHC’s Andy Clark works with both teams to provide coaching for these young squads and was there throughout the day, watching the teams.
Reports back from Leeds describe the efforts of LJMU as spirited as a team very much in transition with a refreshed squad for the new year. Whereas, UoL have stormed their group with 3 wins so far – an excellent achievement.
The LJMU girls, in a somewhat limited competition judging by the entrants, were unlucky in their endevours in which they lost against UCLan.
Best of luck to the teams for the 2nd day’s events and enjoy the hangovers!
